St Joseph’s will be holding five “Learning Together Playgroups” during June, July and August.  These will run on Monday mornings in conjunction with the Parish playgroup.  We believe they will supply all pre-schoolers and their parent/s with opportunities to meet other families in the local area, engage in playful learning activities and develop new skills.

The playgroups will be facilitated by early learning educators and staff from the Catholic Schools Office.

All preschool children families and carers are welcome – no RSVP required.  Spread the word!

St Joseph’s will be participating in National Walk Safely to School Day on Friday 17^th May (Week 3). This is an annual event held across Australia encouraging primary school children and their parents/carers to walk regularly and safely to school promoting healthy lifestyle choices.

The walk will begin at 8am where the Pelican Path meets the Ocean St Bridge and we will loop around through Lake Park and along the walking path parallel to Pittwater Rd arriving at school at approximately 8:30am. Families are encouraged to join us anywhere along the walk.

No scooters, bikes or skateboards are to be brought on the walk please.

School finishes for Term 1 on Friday 12 April 2019.

Students return on Tuesday 30 April 2019 for term 2.

Monday 29 April is a Staff Development Day (no pupils).  School Zones come back into force on Monday 29 April 2019.
