Northern Beaches Catholic Schools Term 2 Gala Days
As part of our PDHPE program at St Josephs Catholic Primary School all students in Years 3-6 will participate in the Northern Beaches Catholic Schools Netball, AFL and Rugby Gala Days.

Years 3 and 4 – Tuesday 3 July 2018
Years 5 and 6 – Thursday 5 July 2018
VENUE: Netball – John Fisher Park, Curl Curl
VENUE: AFL/Rugby – North Narrabeen Reserve (Rat Park)
TRANSPORT: Netball children will be transported to and from the venue by bus; AFL and rugby students will walk to and from the venue. All students will be back to school in time for normal school dismisal.
UNIFORM: Children are to wear the correct sports uniform and school hat. Children playing rugby will be given a jersey to wear on the day. Mouthguards are compulsory for rugby players.
FOOD & DRINK: Please bring recess and lunch, you may wish to include some extra healthy snacks. Plenty of water to drink is essential. There is no canteen.
SUNSCREEN: Parents, sunscreen must be applied at home for the day. It is advised that sunscreen is brought on the day for your child to re-apply throughout the day.
MEDICATION: If a student requires medication (ie antibiotics) this is to be brought with them on the day and given to the supervising teacher.
PARENT HELPERS: We need parents to help with team supervision for the day. If you can offer your time to help supervise your child's team on the day please indicate on the Google Form. This would be greatly appreciated.
